Liz Vicente is a contemporary artisan specializing in reproduction pottery inspired by the ancient Anasazi (Ancestral Puebloan) tradition from the Four Corners region of the American Southwest. Her work revives the coil-and-scrape building techniques, natural clay sourcing, and geometric painted designs characteristic of Anasazi ceramics, such as black-on-white and corrugated wares from sites like Chaco Canyon or Mesa Verde (circa 700–1300 CE).
