Early Man Large stone stemmed point blade
Excellent Condition
This is a rare, large unifacial or bifacial blade made from flint or chert, crafted by early humans such as Homo ergaster (also known as African Homo erectus). These tools represent some of the earliest known knives, dating back over 500,000 years to the Lower Paleolithic Acheulean industry, primarily found in North African sites like the Sahara Desert. They were used for butchering large game animals, such as prehistoric elephants, hippos, and giraffes, during a time when the region was more lush before it became arid.
