1020-25 'Nochia, The Wanderer', Navajo Rock art from the 1700's
In Slims canyon, a beautiful private canyon next to Canyon Del Muerto in Canyon De Chelley, is a rock art drawing titled 'Nochia, The wanderer'. This life-size drawing was made sometime in the 1700s by a Navajo artist and depicts a Spanish soldier from that time period.
Medium: Gelatin Silver enlargement, hand-printed by the artist, measuring 16'x20' and mounted and over-matted on 4 ply museum rag board.
