130213-03 Navajo Soft Transitional Period Blanket; c.1890
Late 19th century
39" x 65"
A uniquely soft and very beautiful and shoulder blanket which has become thin and of light weight due to the soft spinning of the wool and loss of wool density over time due to use. The lazy lines are easily seen as the wool separates slightly on the line. A beautiful and artistic weaving suitable for wall or furniture display.
