An outstanding basketry bowl with strong patina and very small coil and stitch. This basket reflects an earlier style of general food basket and shows evidence of traditional use with the nature of the coloration and slight wear and food particles between stitches on the interior. Woven of sedge, redbud and bracken fern root. Diagonal rim whip stitch finish. Excellent Overall condition.
