Master Carver Kevin Paul is a Coast Salish carver and Swinomish tribal member.

Kevin 'Wa lee hub' Paul, (born in 1960), enrolled tribal member, Swinomish Indian Tribal Community; resident of Swinomish and LaConner, Washington.  Kevin is a master carver of contemporary and traditional Native American carvings.  Using red and yellow cedar, alder and pine, he carves in these styles:  Coast Salish, Gitksan, Tlingit, Haida, and Kwakiutl.  

Television exposure:  'Totem Design,' Lynette Jennings Design and Spring River Productions, airing on the Discovery Channel, 50 episodes, 27 countries in 1998 - 2001.  'Artist of the State' QVC shopping channel, selected at recommendation of Anacortes Historical Museum as the artist to represent the State of Washington on a 50-state tour, 1997.  'Kevin Paul, LaConner Totem Carver' Seattle's public television station, KCTS 9, production aired on a news cable station throughout Japan.  Thirty minute documentary of carving a totem from the selection of the log to finished totem.  Aired in Japan in 1997 and in Seattle, WA in 2000.
