Calvin Pavatea is from Polacca, First Mesa, AZ. He is married to Yvonne Pavatea and is the nephew of Ted Pavatea. Calvin creates very clean, crisp sculptures of Katsinam. 


Comanche (Komantsi or Tutumsi) pays tribute to the Comanche warrior and his powerful presence. He appears at the Mixed Dances.
